TriStar Southern Hills awarded 'A' hospital safety grade from Leapfrog Group
The Leapfrog Group awarded TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center with it's thirteenth consecutive "A" Hospital Safety Grade for Fall 2023 based on 30 national performance measures.
Nashville, Tenn. — TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center received an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group for Fall 2023, marking the thirteenth consecutive grading period where the hospital earned the highest grade. This national distinction recognizes TriStar Southern Hill’s achievements based on over 30 national performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent harm.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program exclusively based on hospital prevention of medical errors, infections and injuries. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Grades are updated twice annually in the fall and spring.
